Bubblegum, bubblegum in a dish…how many pieces do you wish? One… two…
Check out my awesome new phone…isn’t it cool? It was a hot commodity at carnival this year…and I was the lucky one to take it home. It really works too. When the phone rings, a gumball comes down the track in the middle and if you aren’t there to push the button, the spiral brings it back up. It also lights upn and plays music. I know you are thinking this can become annoying and you are right…which is why the designer was smart…on the bottom there are various settings…so if you don’t want all the bells and whistles you don’t have to have them on.

I have lots more carnival pics to share…so stayed tuned.
And on a different note…carnival is done, so I only have memory book left on my plate right now, which means I should be around much more again! I’ve missed you girls…can’t wait to catch up
Fitting name for this plant huh? lol…

No we did not sneak in a tropical vacation, I wish…
Rather, we went to

The Domes in Milwaukee on Sunday afternoon. One dome is an arid dome, making me long for Phoenix and the cactus. Another is the Tropical dome…reminding me of a butterfly house, minus the butterflies and the last dome, is the show dome. This dome has greenery and a theme that changes monthly I think. We picked this weekend to go, because the show dome had a Lego display. It was pretty cool but I’ll save the details of that for later!
and enjoying the warmer weather we’ve had (on and off but I’ll take it)

My family is not generally into popcorn, but lately it’s been one of Syd’s main staples.
Last night I went out with Matthew to a school event (4th grade fun night) and Syd was so sad and mad that she couldn’t come. She was crying and really making me feel bad. Thank G-d the lightbulb went off in my head…I put popcorn in the microwave and turned on a movie in my room for her… and you guessed it…all was good in Sydney’s world.

And for the record she was home with her dad and 2 other brothers so nothing to be sad about it. I think it was more that she is so used going with me to school things that she didn’t understand why this was different.
Fun night was just that…fun! It is a district wide event that is held at the high school and the kids have open gym, use of the pool, speed ball, ping pong, board games, other games, snacks, snacks and more snacks…. fun times had by all!
