Another fun stop… 3 floors of colorful fun plus a movie theater. The 1/2 hour 3-d movie they showed was cute but sitting in the dark, cool theater for a half hour was the best! Remember, we were there the end of July!
Since this whole trip was filled with fun, bright colors and I haven’t mixed up the editing at all I decided to mix it up a bit and go with some urban acid

Shopping at the World of Coke was fun, but the glass bottle elevator was even better!

We are not gamblers, and with kids in tow gambling wasn’t a real option anyway. To us, the best part of Vegas was lobby hoping (and the food). We didn’t hit them all, there are way to many, but we hit a fair amount of them. We opted to have dinner one night at The Venetian… it was sooo good. I swear, if you didn’t know better you would’ve thought you were really in Italy…so cool. The main attraction to lobby at the Venetian is the gondola ride. The ride goes around in a huge loop and goes both inside and out. Since we couldn’t fit in one gondola we opted to skip the ride all together, it was pretty pricey and not worth paying double.

this is a new bridge they were working on last summer, probably complete by now, to help ease traffic at the dam. For those familiar, the traffic can be insane

After we arrived in Vegas, we settled in, had dinner and then hit the strip for a little bit. We probably were back to our hotel by 8:30 because the kids wanted to swim. We took a quick dip and then settled in for the night.
How coincidental was it that when we got in the car in the morning, this was the song on the radio…
